The location of Juniper Cottage Clovenfords is ideal, with a superb pub just a few steps away and beautiful landscapes for leisurely walks. the facilities in the cottage are excellent, with a modern kitchen and bathroom that are both clean and well-equipped. the bedroom offers plenty of storage for clothes and the bed is super comfy. the log fire provides a cozy and warm atmosphere.
The sofa in the cottage was unfortunately too low and uncomfortable, with a metal bar causing discomfort on one side.

We had a wonderful short break in a lovely cottage that felt like home. The facilities were superb, with a washing machine and dishwasher available. The cottage was easy to find and had easy parking. The landscape surrounding the cottage was perfect for walks and historical exploration. The pub just a few paces down the road was excellent. The garden was lovely and the bed was super comfy.
Some cookware in the cottage was worn and could use new frying pans.

The kitchen and bathroom were modern and looked lovely. the log fire was absolutely fantastic and kept the cottage very warm. It was located centrally in a quiet village, with a pub and small village shop nearby.
We were not expected upon arrival and had to rely on the keyholder who happened to live next door. the kitchen cupboards were too high for me and the crockery was rather heavy.

Plus, the village is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
We didn't have the chance to meet the host in person, but the self check-in process was very convenient.

This lovely cottage felt like home and exceeded our expectations. With a washing machine and a dishwasher, it had everything we needed. The modern kitchen and bathroom, along with ample storage in the bedroom, were impressive. The log fire kept the cottage warm, and the property itself was much bigger on the inside than it appeared. Easy access to Edinburgh by road or train made it even more convenient. We highly recommend this accommodation.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
